City of London Guided Walk - The Genius of Wren

Guided Tour | St Pauls Cathedral London

Tuesday 14 November 2017 - 11:00 until 16:00

After meeting at St Paul's Cathedral, the group will be taken by a very experienced guide inside at least five of Wren's churches, including St Stephen Walbrook and St Mary Aldermary. On the tour the group will also see the steeples of a dozen other chruches, visit some small churchyard gardens, hear stories of Roman Emperors, medieval kings and queens and other great historical figures. There will also be visits to sites with connections to Milton, Keats, Wordsworth and the earliest governors of states in America and Australia, finishing with a superb view of the London skyline from a City rooftop.

There will be a break for lunch.

If you arrive early and would like coffee there is a cafe in the crypt.

This event has been organised by the Lancashire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
