Royal Institute of British Architects Photographs Collection

Visit and Talk | Royal Institute of British Architects

Thursday 28 September 2017 - 18:00 until 19:30

The RIBA library holds one of the most extensive collections of photographs of architecture and the built environment in the world, encompassing landscape, gardens and social history, and dating from the earliest days of photography. Some of the best known architectural photographers of the 20th century are represented. The curator, Valeria Carullo, will give an introduction to the library, the history of the collection and its uses and significance and produce a selection of photographs reflecting its richness and diversity. There will also be a behind-the-scenes tour of the photograph store.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
