Museo del Prado: one of the world's great museums

Lecture | Menuhin Hall

Tuesday 19 September 2017 - 10:00 until 12:00

Museo del Prado's wealth lies in it's collection of works by the great Golden Age Spanish artists, El Greco, Velazquez (including his masterpiece Las Meninas), Zurbaran, Murillo and the later multitalented Goya. However, it also contains works by Rogier van der Weyden, Bosch, Titian and Rubens.

Gail Turner will take the group on a visual tour of the museum's delights.

This event has been organised by the Surrey Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
