Guided Tour | Hepworth Gallery

A behind-the-scenes tour with Matt Kelly (Gallery Manager), then, after tea, a guided tour of the recently opened Howard Hodgkin Exhibition, "Painting India".

Hodgkin, who died in 2017, was the foremost British Abstract artist of the 20th century. Born in 1932 his first solo show was in 1962, followed by exhibitions at the Venice Biennale. He won the Turner Prize in 1985. He was working on this exhibition at the time of his death.

Price £20 to include guided tours and afternoon tea in the café at the Gallery. Meet 2pm. Gallery open until 5.30 pm.
