Garden Party & Visit to Windyhill, Kilmacolm

Visit | Address on booking

Wednesday 30 August 2017 - 14:00 until 16:30

2018 being 150 years since Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s birth, an excellent precursor will be a Garden Party at one of his domestic masterpieces, Windyhill in Kilmacolm, courtesy of its owner David Cairns. As well as enjoying the garden there we will have the chance to see around the house and its collections. There will be a coach leaving North Hanover Street at 1pm for those who would like to take it, but you are also very welcome to drive over to Kilmacolm and meet the group there. The coach will return to Glasgow at 4.30. Full details will be supplied when you book.

This event has been organised by the Strathclyde Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
