Yarlington House and garden

Visit | Yarlington House

Wednesday 21 June 2017 - 10:30 until 15:30

This late Georgian house is full of interest, good French furniture and a collection of pictures, bronzes and tapestries mostly reflecting Count de Salis's lifelong interest in Napoleon.

The group will be free to enjoy picnics in the magnificent gardens, which will be at their best in June. After lunch , Charles de Salis has agreed to give a talk about Napoleon and the events which led to the battle of Waterloo. This event is jointly organised with Art Fund Hampshire.

Bring your own picnic lunch and drinks.

This event has been organised by the Somerset Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
