Thursday 15 June 2017 - 13:30 until 16:00
Coupland Castle is a very special 16th century, privately owned building near Wooler which has been added to and embellished over the centuries. The Tower is furnished in period style and enhanced by a large collection of paintings. These are mainly the work of the present owner’s mother Pauline Konody who painted in watercolours, and maternal grandmother Isabel Codrington RA who painted in oils. They both exhibited widely during the 1920’s and 1930’s.
This event has been organised by the Northumberland Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
