The art and Historic Houses of Greenwich and South East London

Tour | Greenwich and other locations

12 – 15 June 2017

A whole day will be spent in Greenwich visiting the Queen’s House, the National Maritime Museum, the Naval College and the Royal Observatory, culminating in a return trip to Westminster by river.

The next day includes the Red House (the home of William Morris), Eltham Palace and the Ranger’s House, a Gregorian villa housing a wonderful collection of medieval and Renaissance art.

On the final day there are guided tours of the Dulwich Picture Gallery, designed by Sir John Soane, with paintings by Rembrandt, Poussin and Gainsborough, and the Great Hall and Chapel of Dulwich College.

This tour is being organised on behalf of Art Fund Devon by Tailored Travel who are arranging coach travel from Devon and throughout the visit.

The first visit on Monday 12 June is to the Bethlem Museum of the Mind, housed in the former Bedlam Hospital and shortlisted for Museum of the Year 2016.

Please apply by 15 January 2017. A full itinerary will then be sent.

This event has been organised by the Devon Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
