Kenwood House - sold out

Visit | Kenwood House

Tuesday 23 May 2017 - 13:00 until 15:00

This private tour is led by Blue Badge and City guide Rosaleen Garvey. Past occupants of this beautiful house include Lord Mansfield, Dido Belle and Lord Iveagh, who bequeathed it and its outstanding art collection, including works by Vermeer, Gainsborough and Rembrandt, to the nation. Remodelled by Robert Adam from 1766-79, a recent major refurbishment of the house included the return of his famous interiors to their original colours. While not part of the tour, there are glorious gardens to explore, set in parkland designed by Sir Humphrey Repton.

Please note: Unfortunately, there is wheelchair access only on the ground floor. Easy staircase, but no lift, to the first floor.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
