Museum Visit | Montrose Museum

Tuesday 9 May 2017 - 14:00 until 16:30

Dr John Johnston, Collections Officer, Rachel Benvie, Museum Curator and Linda Fraser, Museum Officer, will all be on hand at the museum to give a brief introduction to its history and its exhibits. Those of you who were watching the BBC's Nation's Masterpieces programme when Dr Mead's portrait was rediscovered will be pleased to see it back on the wall. The group will also be shown the silver that Art Fund helped the museum buy and be given the reasons why it was so important to add it to their collection.

This event has been organised by the Angus Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
