York Guildhalls - sold out

Tour | York Guildhall

Friday 28 April 2017 - 14:00 until 16:00

York City's Guildhall is the starting point of this walking tour, which will be led by Kate Giles, Senior Lecturer in Archaeology at York University.

The tour will continue to the magnificent Merchant Adventurers’ Hall, before going on to St Anthony’s Hall, Peaseholme Green, and then finishing at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall within the city walls.

During our tour, learn why guildhalls were founded and why so few survived the Reformation.

This event has been organised by the York & East Yorkshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
