Lambeth Palace - sold out

Guided Tour | Lambeth Palace

Tuesday 25 April 2017 - 10:45 until 13:30

Enjoy a tour of Lambeth Palace, the London home and office of the Archbishop of Canterbury, led by an expert volunteer guide. Tours take around 90 minutes and include the State Rooms, the Great Hall, the 13th century Chapel, modern Atrium and ancient Crypt. Entry is by the Tudor Gatehouse, a landmark at the foot of Lambeth Bridge.

Following the guided tour we will enjoy a private viewing, accompanied by Lambeth Palace library staff, of selected items from their collection focusing on items with Art Fund links.

Please be aware the Palace, except the 800-year-old chapel, is wheelchair accessible. However there are some areas of poor lighting and uneven flooring.

Meet at Morton's Tower, the Gatehouse to Lambeth Palace.

This event has been organised by the Sussex Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
