The Hepworth Wakefield

Talk and Tour | The Hepworth Wakefield

Wednesday 5 April 2017 - 11:15 until 12:00

Jonathan Anderson is one of the world’s most innovative contemporary fashion designers, exploring the human form in art, fashion and design. Disobedient Bodies is his personal selection of sculptures on display at The Hepworth Wakefield, alongside notable fashion pieces and objects of craft and design investigating the way artists and designers have reconceived the human form across the 20th and 21st centuries. He has a long-standing passion for modern art (from mid-20th century) and the underlying questions of gender that have been posed by his own fashion collections. A curatorial tour of this special exhibition led by Chief Curator, Andrew Bonacina, in recognition of the contribution by Art Fund to the Hepworth's permanent exhibition.

This event has been organised by the South Yorkshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
