Women artists - power and presence

Guided Tour | The Otter Gallery

Thursday 2 March 2017 - 10:15 until 13:00

A guided visit to The Otter Gallery, University of Chichester, followed by a tour of the chapel.

Often women's work is neglected however this exhibition, drawn from the university's collection, admirably displays works in various mediums including work by Elizabeth Blackadder, Mary Fedden, Sandra Blow, Alison Britton and Alice Kettle. A specialist guide will give a tour of the work of women artists selected from the vast university collection, including a tour of the sculptures on the campus.

There will also be a tour and talk in the chapel describing the interesting developments of the present building.

Please note that parking is very limited at the university but parking is available a short walk away in the Chichester Festival Theatre car park, North Gate, Chichester, PO19 6AA

This event has been organised by the Sussex Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
