Art Analysis and Research Laboratory - sold out

Visit | Art Analysis and Research Laboratory

Friday 24 February 2017 - 16:00 until 18:00

The Art Analysis and Research Laboratory performs analysis on the world’s top art collections for galleries, art lenders, auction houses and industry professionals. This is done by using a combination of forensic art analysis, specialist imaging and technical art history expertise.

The tour will uncover revelations behind old, modern and contemporary masters, as well as exposing forgeries using carefully developed protocols and unique reference data and pigments from their library of 3000 pigments dating back to Pompeii. There will be an introduction to their approach, an overview of the apparatus and then case histories explaining how the work is put into practice.

Please note that this venue is not wheelchair accessible.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
