David Hockney: a lecture by Martin Gayford at the Linnean Society - Sold out

Martin Gayford, art historian, art critic and author will talk about David Hockney and his work to coincide with the major retrospective at Tate Britain that covers six decades of David Hockney's work and will include many iconic images such as the Los Angeles swimming pools, the Yorkshire landscapes, drawings and photo assemblages. Martin Gayford has recently co-written A History of Pictures with David Hockney. His other books include A Bigger Message: Conversations with David Hockney and A Man with a Blue Scarf - On sitting for a portrait by Lucian Freud.

Some exhibition tickets are available the same day at Tate Britain at an extra cost - please enquire.

This event has been organised by the Buckinghamshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
