Debussy and Monet - Impressionism in music and painting

A talk by Janet Canetty-Clarke, a lecturer in music, associated with both Sussex and London universities and still regularly teaches or lectures around the country. She has previously been a musical director, conductor or pianist in numerous international settings.

Janet Canetty-Clarke will explain the links between the paintings of Monet and the music of Debussy and will illustrate these links with images, recorded music and by accompanying herself on the grand piano at Danny House.

Be prepared to be both educated and entertained.

This event has been organised by the Sussex Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
