Guided Tour | Corhampton Church

A guided tour of three churches in the Meon Valley - the Saxon church at Corhampton, built some time before 1020, the Early English St Andrews Meonstoke, and the Norman All Saints East Meon. Church history in the Meon Valley goes back to the 7th century AD. The tour covers architectural styles and what can be traced of the lives of the parishioners over the years.

The tour starts at 9am sharp at Corhampton Church car park (reached from B3035 Meonstoke to Corhampton Road, turning on North side, within half a mile or so of the Meonstoke roundabout).

Please note transport is not provided. No sustenance is provided, however the tour ends around 12noon within easy walking distance of The George Public House in East Meon.

This event has been organised by the Hampshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
