The architectural work of Cyril Winskell

Talk | St George's Church, Jesmond

Saturday 1 October 2016 - 14:00 until 16:00

Cyril Winskell is the leading accredited conservation architect behind some of the best known regeneration projects in the North. This will be a celebration of a lifetime of his work through an exhibition of his architectural drawings, watercolour sketches and abstract paintings.

The session will comprise an illustrated talk and an opportunity to view some of his most notable projects in the locality, as well as an opportunity to hear from the man himself in a question and answer session.

The event is to be a 'taster' for a larger exhibition of his work to be hosted by the Department of Architecture at Newcastle University early next year.

This event has been organised by the Northumberland Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
