Visit to Salts Mill and Saltaire

Museum Visit | Salts Mill

The group will be shown the 1853 gallery containing the largest permanent collect of Hockney’s art and gallery three, The Arrival of Spring. The speaker, Sue Roe, manages the gallery and is an authority on Hockney.

A soup and sandwich lunch is included in Salts Diner. In the afternoon there is a tour of the village which is a UNESCO site and the Grade 1 listed United Reformed Church.

This event has been organised by the Lancashire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
