Visit and Talk | Earth Trust

Friday 9 September 2016 - 14:30 until 16:30

A talk and walk – this is a unique opportunity to hear and see the inspiring conservation and educational work the Earth Trust is undertaking.

First established in 1982 by Sir Martin and Lady Audrey Woods, the Earth Trust is now the custodian of 2.5 kilometres of River Thames frontage, the landmark Wittenham Clumps, along with woodland, research plantations, wildlife meadows, wetlands and mixed farmland totalling 1,200 acres. Its team of 30 people, plus 100 regular volunteers, welcomes some 30,000 visitors each year to engage with and share in their countryside activities.

This event has been organised by the Oxfordshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
