Guided Tour | Church of St Lawrence

Thursday 18 August 2016 - 10:00 until 16:00

A guided tour of Eyam's Grade II listed pParish church of St Lawrence. Learn about the plague village’s self-imposed isolation in 1665 when 260 residents died.

In the afternoon, we explore the newly opened Hannah Bennett Sculpture Garden in Eyam comprising work by seven sculptors, surrounding a converted barn. Work is for sale and commissions can be undertaken.

Afternoon cream tea in the Village Tea Rooms and entry to Eyam Museum is included with your ticket. Please note there is free parking. Also during the day, you may also like to visit Eyam Hall, and various tea rooms and cafes where lunch may be purchased (not included in ticket price).
