Organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee

Henry Moore Studios and Gardens, Perry Green

Visit | Henry Moore Foundation

Wednesday 20 July 2016 - 11:00 until 16:00

Now reopened following recent redevelopment, Henry Moore Studios and Gardens is the best place in the world to appreciate the work of the sculptor. His former estate is much as it was during his lifetime and provides a backdrop for his work to be experienced in the landscape, just as he intended it to be. This guided visit begins with Moore’s family home Hoglands. After free time for lunch, we will explore his studios and Tapestry Barn, and admire the gardens created by his wife Irina.

Please make your own arrangements for lunch from 12.45pm to 2pm when the guided tour will resume. We suggest The Hoops Inn: £15. Advance reservation is recommended, call The Hoops Inn on 01279 843568 to book.

Alternatively, the new visitor’s centre has a cafe and there is a special area for picnics.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
