Organised by the Highlands Volunteer Fundraising Committee

Bellie Church, Fochabers and the Walled Garden, Gordon Castle

Guided Tour | Bellie Church

Friday 3 June 2016 - 14:00 until 17:00

Bellie Church is located in the heart of Fochabers. Built in 1797, it is one of the finest pieces of work designed by architect John Baxter of Edinburgh. With it's elegant steeple, the building is Category A listed. In recent years, there have been several structural additions, including the installation of three vibrant stained glass windows as part of the Bicentenary celebrations in 1997.

The tour of the church starts at 2pm. There will be two guides for this part of the visit.

At 2.45pm take a short break for afternoon tea at the Walled Garden Cafe, followed by a tour of the Walled Garden which is being lovingly restored to its former glory.

The shop will be open and the Gordon Castle Gin and Raspberry liqueur is highly recommended.

This event has been organised by the Highlands Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
