Chavenage and Rodmarton

Coach Visit | Chavenage and Rodmarton

Tuesday 10 May 2016 - 09:00 until 18:00

Chavenage is a wonderful Elizabethan manor house of mellow grey Cotswold stone, its approach aspect virtually as left by Edward Stephens in 1576. The house has starred in many TV locations, most recently in Poldark. Refreshments on arrival are followed by a guided tour and lunch.

After lunch, Rodmarton Manor near Cirencester. A fine example of an Arts and Crafts house and garden, designed and built by Ernest Barnsley in 1909, it is still owned by the descendants of the original Biddulph family. A private tour of the house is followed by unguided time in the garden.

This event has been organised by the Warwickshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
