Walking tour of Bury St Edmunds

A walking tour of one of the finest towns in East Anglia, including a visit to the cathedral, Abbey Gardens and a Georgian gem, the Theatre Royal, the country’s only surviving Regency playhouse. The tour will also include a detailed look at the architecture of noble buildings, such as the Manor House, Angel Hotel, 12th century Moyse’s Hall and the iconic Greene King brewery in modernist style.

Coffee/tea and cake will be served in the historic Athenaeum.

If you are a member of the National Trust, please bring your membership card with you!

This event has been organised by the Essex Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
