Three day trip to Edinburgh

Staying at the 4 star Apex Hotel Waterloo Place for two nights. Meet on Tuesday 12 April at 1.30pm for a 2pm talk and tour of The Queen's Gallery, Palace of Holyroodhouse for Masters of the Everyday: Dutch Art in the Age of Vermeer exhibition. During the stay, visit the Scottish National Gallery and also take in a walking tour of Edinburgh and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art for the exhibition Modern Scottish Women Painters and Sculptors 1885-1965. Also tour the Scottish Parliament Building, Holyrood.

The price includes two nights with breakfast at the hotel, two dinners and two lunches and all entry fees to the exhibitions. One of the dinners will be held in The Scotch Malt Whisky Society.

Transport not included. The group will meet in Edinburgh with more details upon booking.

The hotel is very conveniently situated opposite the Edinburgh Waverley railway station and a car park is available.

This event has been organised by the Lancashire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
