Wednesday 23 March 2016 - 11:30 until 12:30

As part of the Wellcome Trust, the collection explores connections between medicine, life and art in the past, present and future. Founded by Henry Wellcome, it contains more than a million objects. Displays reunite a cross-section of extraordinary pieces and the library has more than 750,000 books and journals and an extensive range of manuscripts, archives and films. This guided tour includes the temporary exhibition States of Mind: Tracing the Edges of Consciousness, which examines perspectives from artists, psychologists, philosophers and neuroscientists to interrogate our understanding of the conscious experience.

The Wellcome Collection is the free destination for the incurably curious, all proceeds from this fundraising event go directly to support the work of the Art Fund.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
