Reception, talk and readings - The Hunterian Poems

The Hunterian Poems - An Anthology of Poems to Paintings from the collection of The Hunterian at the University of Glasgow, with Mungo Campbell, Deputy Director of The Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery, and Alan Riach, Professor of Scottish Literature at Glasgow University, who is both the book's editor and contributing poet.

For the anthology, 21 of Scotland's best poets composed a poem for the paintings of their choice from the Hunterian's art collection, selecting works by Chardin, Gavin Hamilton, Whistler, JD Fergusson, Stanley Spencer and Joan Eardley amongst others. This event is taking place during StAnza and has their approval.

This event has been organised by the Fife Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
