Discover the gruesome history of the medical profession on a tour of the Hunterian Museum in Lincoln Inn Fields.

This morning provides an opportunity to enjoy a tour of the Hunterian Museum, which boasts unrivalled collections of human (and non-human) specimens, surgical instruments, painting and sculptures revealing the art and science of surgery from the 17th century to the present day. Learn about the history of the Royal College of Surgeons, the famous surgeon and anatomist John Hunter and other medical professionals involved in the development of surgery. The tour will be led by a Blue Badge guide.

This event has been organised by the Oxfordshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
