A talk by Tim Padley about five Viking graves found near Cumwhinton a few years ago. These were the first graves to be excavated and examined using modern methods and were found completely unexpectedly.

Lunch will be provided at The Fratry, near the Cathedral. It has a friendly atmosphere as well as providing good food.

This event has been organised by the Cumbria Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
