Always in Vogue - vintage fashion and revivals of style for new generations

The British Vogue magazine celebrates its centenery in 2016. Throughout this time Vogue has been the arbiter of taste and offered guidelines on style for many generations of women. This talk will examine some of the key images from the pages of Vogue over the last century and will consider their iconic visual statements as well as the revival of the classic Vogue fashion as vintage style.
Dr Emma Roberts, a lecturer in History of Art from John Moore's University, will share her knowledge and passion for vintage style.
This event has been organised by the Cheshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
