Talk and Petworth House exhibition - Bosch to Bellotto

Visit and Talk | Petworth House

Thursday 28 January 2016 - 10:00 until 13:00

Revised date - Thursday 28 January. Limited places remaining. The original date (21 January) is now fully booked.

Petworth House's annual exhibition features the pick of Petworth's outstanding collection of European Masters. They have been newly cleaned, re-lit and interpreted and the exhibition includes previously un-exhibited masterpieces from the private rooms of Petworth.

This represents a one off opportunity to see these major paintings in a new light and includes the full length Henry VII from the Hans Holbein studio alongside further treasures by Bosch, Titian and other 16th century masters. Andrew Loukes, the exhibition curator, has kindly agreed to give an introduction into the selected works and hanging this type of exhibition, before the group view the exhibition in a reserved time slot.

Coffee will be served beforehand at 10am, in the Petworth House Restaurant.

This event has been organised by the Sussex Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
