This Autumn's series of lectures looks at portraiture through the ages.
Leslie Primo examines Gauguin’s self-portraits and the many guises he used to portray himself. He will look at his influences in terms of other artists such as Manet, Emile Bernard, Van Gogh and Rembrandt. He will also consider the influence of travel in Gauguin’s perception of himself.
