Drawing in Venice: Titian to Canaletto

Lecture and visit to this groundbreaking exhibition featuring drawings from the Uffizi, Ashmolean and Christ Church, Oxford. The new Director of the Ashmolean, Dr Sturgis, and Dr Catherine Whistler, Curator of the exhibition, will welcome the group and lecture, tracing the history of drawing in Venice through artists including Bellini, Tintoretto and Veronese. This is followed by a visit to the exhibition.

Lunch is not provided.

In the afternoon there is an optional additional tour at extra charge.

This event has been organised by the Warwickshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
