A House Full of Paintings

Special Event | Inglesbatch

Wednesday 21 October 2015 - 14:00 until 16:00

Mrs Rosemary Devonald MBE, a long-term member of the Art Fund, has very kindly offered to open her house to a small group, to view her lifetime’s collection of paintings and art. Herself a painter and writer, she has had a distinguished career in art education. She was in the first intake of students at Bath Academy at Corsham in 1946. Her collection includes her own and family work, and her students’ work. Rosemary will talk about her collection, what has influenced and inspired her and how the artists’ work have developed over time.

This will be a unique visit – not one to be missed. Mrs Devonald's house is full of paintings.

Refreshments will be offered.

This event has been organised by the Bristol and Bath Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
