Tuesday 6 October 2015 - 10:30 until 16:00
A morning visit to 78 Derngate, an early 19th century terraced house, remodelled by Charles Rennie Mackintosh; the only English house he designed to come to fruition.
In the afternoon the group will visit to St Matthew's, a late Victorian church favoured by Betjeman, containing art commissioned by Canon Walter Hussey, later Dean of Chichester, eg Henry Moore's Madonna and Child and Sutherland's Crucifixion.
Lunch is not included.
