Guided tour of sculptures at Anglesey Abbey grounds

Guided Tour | Anglesey Abbey

Friday 25 September 2015 - 10:30

The Abbey is just 6 miles from Cambridge and the grounds contain more than 100 sculptures. They were bought by Lord Fairhaven when he was restoring the Abbey gardens in 1945 after their wartime use and most of the sculptures come from the gardens of Great Houses. Mike Sutherill, the Regional Curator of the National Trust, will give a tour of the gardens and sculptures. Please bear in mind you may be on your feet for up to an hour and a half.
