Coach Visit | Wentworth Woodhouse

1 – 2 September 2015 - 08:00 until 17:00

This is a visit to Wentworth Castle and Wentworth Woodhouse in South Yorkshire.

On the first day the group visit Wentworth Castle with a guided tour of the gardens and grounds. Staying overnight at Wortley Hall Hotel and visiting Wentworth Woodhouse the following day, where there will be a "Fitzwilliam" guided tour of the house and gardens, During lunch, at the Le Bistro Restaurant, David Winpenny will give an introductory talk about the history of the Fitzwilliam Wentworth Estate and its various monuments. After lunch there will be a guided tour of these monuments.

A coach will leave Crooklands at 8am and call at Penrith Auction Mart at 8.40am.

This event has been organised by the Cumbria Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
