Westminster School (morning) SOLD OUT
Guided Tour | Westminster School
Thursday 13 August 2015 - 11:00 until 12:30
The beginnings of Westminster School can be traced back to the fourteenth century but it was properly established under the Tudors and Queen Elizabeth 1, who has been credited with founding it in 1560. The school is steeped in history and obviously has strong connections with Westminster Abbey in which its morning assemblies take place. The group will be given a private guided tour by the Archivist, which will include the history of the school and buildings and visits to many of the school buildings around Little Dean’s Yard.
The buildings are unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users.
This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
