Yves St Laurent exhibition

Talk and Tour | The Bowes Museum

Tuesday 11 August 2015 - 10:30

The Bowes Museum and the Fondation Pierre Bergé - Yves Saint Laurent are collaborating to create Yves Saint Laurent: Style is Eternal, the first exhibition in the UK to present a comprehensive display of the French fashion designer’s work and life. The Bowes Museum is the perfect destination, given its exceptional work with fashion and textiles, and as a museum built in the style of a French Chateau, in the age of the Second Empire.

Join the event in the Jubilee Room for a 10.30am start over coffee and a very special introduction by Joanna Hashgen, chief fashion curator at The Bowes Museum, before looking at the exhibition.

The group will then return to the Jubilee Room, a spectacular private dining room, at 1pm for a buffet lunch, after which the group will be free to visit the rest of the museum.

This event has been organised by the Northumberland Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
