Strawberry Hill SOLD OUT

Visit | Strawberry Hill House

Wednesday 22 July 2015 - 10:30 until 16:00

Strawberry Hill is Britain’s finest example of Georgian Gothic Revival architecture, and both the property and gardens have been recently restored. It began life in 1698 as a modest house, built by the coachmen of the Earl of Bradford, and was later transformed into ‘a little Gothic castle’ by Horace Walpole between 1747 and 1792. The Countess Waldegrave made further additions in the 19th century. This tour begins with the house and, following lunch, a walk in the gardens.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
