60’s Fashion and Photographers by Felicity Green OBE - SOLD OUT

Talk | Groucho Club

Tuesday 14 July 2015 - 19:00 until 20:30

An intimate talk at the exclusive private members Groucho Club by award-winning journalist, Felicity Green OBE. Felicity was at the heart of what became known worldwide as London's swinging sixties, introducing and promoting young fashion designers (think Quant and Barbara Hulanicki's Biba). Fun, fascinating and insightful, with a focus on the fashion scene and its famous photographers - many of whom, like David Bailey and Terry O'Neill, made their first appearance in the Daily Mirror, then the world's largest-selling national newspaper. A lively conversation based on her recent book 'Sex, Sense and Nonsense: Felicity Green on the 60's Fashion Scene'.

Please note, access is by stairs only.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
