Private View | Nether Winchendon House
Tuesday 7 July 2015 - 10:45
A private visit has been arranged to Nether Winchendon House, near Thame, Bucks. Its origins lie in an Augustinian Priory founded in 1162. This was largely remodelled in the 16th century into the house we see today. The house has been in the same family for 450 years, and the present owner, Robert Spencer Bernard, will guide the group round the house. The church and gardens will also be open to view.
This event has been organised by the Oxfordshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
