Music for a Midsummer Evening

The grounds of Buscot Park (between Faringdon and Lechlade) in Oxfordshire.

A recital of Restoration Ayres for the Theatre, including music by Henry Purcell and John Blow, will be performed by Tim Travers-Brown, a highly-acclaimed counter-tenor, accompanied on the Theorbo.

Tickets will include a glass of sparkling wine or a soft drink on arrival at 5p.m.

The theatre accommodates a maximum of 64 so early booking is advisable.

If members and guests wish to linger in the beautiful pleasure grounds after the performance they are invited to bring a picnic supper. We regret that Disabled Access to the theatre is not available.

This event has been organised by the Berkshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
