A full day coach tour visiting 5 Somerset historic churches, under the expert leadership of Lindsey Shaw-Miller MA. The focus of the tour is visiting 5 historic and beautiful churches in Somerset, including C16th St Mary Magdalene, Chewton Mendip, rated as having one of the best towers and settings in the county by Simon Jenkins in ‘England’s 1000 Best Churches’; Cameley St James with wall painting fragments from the C11th onward; and St Andrew’s, Blagdon which has Oswald Moser’s painting of the Last Supper, and 16 ‘Teaching Windows’

Please leave cars at Ashton Way Car Park, before boarding the coach. There will be a lunch stop at the Ring o’Bells pub, Compton Martin, and tea will available at the last church visited.

This event has been organised by the Bristol and Bath Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
