St. Cuthbert’s Church SOLD OUT

Visit | St. Cuthbert’s Church

Wednesday 20 May 2015 - 14:00 until 16:00

St. Cuthbert’s is a late Victorian gem. Completed in 1887 by the architect Hugh Romieu Gough, it includes sumptuous textiles designed by Ernest Geldart and worked by highly skilled women, one of the best and largest Arts and Crafts screens in the UK and a tour de force of sacred sculpture within the sanctuary and reredos. The Church’s history also features an unusual and important series of local guilds, responsible for the bespoke interiors. Join art and architectural historian Ayla Lepine for a tour of this wonderful building

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
