Visit | Rousham House

Thursday 14 May 2015 - 12:00 until 17:00

Rousham and its landscape Garden are primarily the work of William Kent and remain much as he left it. The House was built in 1635 by Sir Robert Dormer and is still in the ownership of the same family. It is approximately 12 miles north of Oxford. It is uncommercial with no tea-room.

The group meet at the House at 1.30pm for a tour of the House .You will be free to explore the beautiful garden after. A table will be booked at the Oxford Arms Kirtlington at 12 noon, but for those who would prefer a picnic, this may be taken in the garden.

This event has been organised by the Berkshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
