Private tour of Kenwood House

Visit | Kenwood House

Wednesday 29 April 2015 - 14:00 until 16:00

Kenwood House is the centrepiece of an 18th century gentleman's estate, with neo-classical facades added by Robert Adam, along with a splendid library which is considered to be one of his finest interiors. A later owner, the first Earl Iveagh of the Guinness family added his wonderful collection of paintings, including major works by Vermeer, Gainsborough and Turner.

The private tour will cover both the architectural features of the house as well as the most important paintings, furniture and sculpture.

This event has been organised by the Essex Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
