Private tour of Kenwood House

Guided Tour | Kenwood House

Wednesday 25 March 2015 - 14:00

Kenwood House, the former home of the 1st Earl of Mansfield, is now open after a massive refurbishment. Set on the edge of Hampstead Heath and surrounded by tranquil landscaped gardens, Kenwood is one of London's hidden gems. The group will have a private guided tour of the House, its beautifully-restored interiors and stunning art collection from the Iveagh Bequest, including works by Reynolds, Turner, Gainsborough, Rembrandt and Vermeer (to name just a few). Admire the breathtaking beauty of architect Robert Adam's famous library and enjoy the collection displayed in the most elegant period rooms of the house. There will be time after the tour to enjoy the gardens independently.

Kenwood House is about 45 minutes from Charing Cross, by tube and bus.

This event has been organised by the Kent Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
